labor law

It is the branch of law that regulates working life and the rights and obligations of workers and employers.

Law

It is a general, permanent and abstract legal rule issued by the legislative body in writing and under this name.

Law

It is all the regulatory rules that regulate the relations of people with each other in social life and receive their sanction power from the state and must be followed.

Lead

It is a soft metal with a bluish or silver-grey color. Organic components of lead, such as tetraethyl or tetramethyl, are important as pollutant parameters because they are used as fuel additives. Tetraethyl lead and tetramethyl lead are both colorless liquids with boiling points of 110°C and 200°C, respectively. Since their volatility is higher than other petroleum components, they also increase the volatility of the fuel to which they are added. Because lead interacts with different enzyme systems, many organs or systems constitute focal points for lead accumulation. Adverse health effects are observed if the blood lead concentration exceeds the 0.2 μg/ml limit. Blood lead concentration; It has been determined that blood synthesis is inhibited after exceeding the 0.2 μg/ml limit, a decrease in sensory and motor nerve communication speed occurs at 0.3-0.8 μg/ml limits, and irreversible brain damage occurs in adults after exceeding the 1.2 μg/ml limit. There is a linear relationship between lead concentration in air and lead concentration in blood. It has been determined that a concentration of 1 μg/m3 of lead in the air creates a concentration of 0.01-0.02 μg/ml in the blood. It has been determined that the background blood lead concentration is 0.04-0.06 μg/ml in humans and 0.1 μg/ml in those living in urban areas. World Health Organization, in order not to exceed the 0.1 μg/ml blood lead concentration limit, which does not cause adverse effects on health; recommends that the lead concentration in urban air be targeted at 0.5-1 μg/m3.

leakage current

If the bodies of the operating devices are conductively connected to the midpoint of the current system or directly to a grounded network point or to the ground, it is the current that passes from the active parts of the operating element to the inactive parts, such as the body, over the operating insulator during operation. As a result, leakage current is the current that flows from a fault-free circuit to ground or a foreign conductive part during operation.

legal act

It is an event that has legal consequences and occurs with human will.

Legislation

Law, statute, regulation are all other sources of law.

leptospirosis

In this infection, which has a very different clinical picture, the disease starts with fever and ends in kidney failure. Impairment of kidney functions causes uremia. The main symptoms are weakness, drowsiness, depression, loss of appetite, diarrhea, vomiting, inflammation of the oral and eye mucosa, abnormal nervous symptoms and blood clotting disorders leading to death. Transmission occurs through the urine of infected dogs and rats.

Lockout

It is the collective dismissal of workers from work by the employer or the employer's representative, on his own initiative or in accordance with the decision of an employer organization, in a manner that causes a complete cessation of activity in the workplace.

Low voltage (LV)

It is the voltage between phases with an effective value of 1000 volts or less than 1000 volts.

lump sum fee

It is a wage system based on a job to be done and a determined wage in return for the job.
