Where Can I Get a Pre-Employment Health Report?

In Turkey, pre-employment health reports can be obtained from the following institutions:

1. Occupational Health and Safety Units (OSGB)

This is the most common method and is fully compliant with regulations. OSGBs prepare pre-employment health reports in accordance with the regulations, with the help of workplace physicians and the necessary health infrastructure. It is the most accurate and reliable method, especially for hazardous and highly hazardous jobs.

Reports for dangerous and highly dangerous jobs, in particular, must be prepared by the workplace physician.

Occupational Health and Safety Units (OSGB) ensure that pre-employment health reports are compliant with regulations, complete, and tailored to the risks of the job.

2. Occupational Physician

An occupational physician employed under contract by the employer can prepare the report by conducting the necessary examinations and tests.

3. State Hospitals

They are generally preferred for low-risk jobs. However, not every state hospital prepares employment entry reports, and the process may take longer.

4. Private Hospitals

Only healthcare institutions with an authorized workplace physician can issue this report. Otherwise, the report may be considered invalid.

Important Note: Family physicians cannot issue employment health reports. These reports are not legally valid.
